Jon Buzan










Mr. Buzan is a licensed Environmental Professional Engineer (PE) and oversees all of REPSG’s operations. Mr. Buzan participates in all facets of company operations including technical and construction services, direct sales, marketing and administration.

Professional Experience

Mr. Buzan offers REPSG clients more than twenty years’ professional expertise in environmental assessment and remediation at a variety of industrial, commercial and residential sites.  Mr. Buzan’s experience includes soil and groundwater remediation; aboveground and underground petroleum and chemical storage tank closures; asbestos abatement, lead paint reduction, and mold remediation; and residual and hazardous waste handling and disposal.

He also is an expert in the identification of environmental hazards, health and safety concerns and regulatory issues, having represented our clients’ interests in community and business meetings and providing technical support and expert witness testimony for the legal industry.

Mr. Buzan specializes in the identification of customer needs and providing common-sense cost effective solutions to both simple and complex problems.  Although educated as an engineer and skilled and knowledgeable in both federal, state and local environmental regulations, Mr. Buzan has spent much of his career overseeing diverse environmental construction management projects.  He has been with REPSG since 1992.

  • B.S.E.E., Pennsylvania State University
  • Licensed Engineer, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (cert. PE-050006-E), State of Delaware (license no. 15546)
  • Qualified as an “Environmental Professional” as  defined pursuant to the USEPA’s  All Appropriate Inquiries regulations (40 CFR Part 312);

Prior experience and certifications include

  • AHERA Certified Asbestos Building Inspector; Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware
  • Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry certified asbestos inspector
  • City of Philadelphia licensed asbestos investigator;
  • Certified Delaware State UST Remover
  • Certified Pennsylvania State UST Remover
  • Member, National Society of Professional Engineers
  • NIOSH ERC trained and certified in the identification and abatement of lead-based paint
  • OSHA 40 hour “Hazwoper” training, Current 8 hour refresher (1910.120)
  • OSHA confined space entry training
  • OSHA 8 hour supervisor training
  • Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) in East Whiteland Township, Chester County, PA since 2004
