REPSG was asked to provide pre-acquisition due diligence, cost estimating and consulting services during our client’s acquisition of a large data-management facility located in northern New Jersey. The subject property had a history of industrial development, including decades of usage as a fragrance manufacturer, and in addition multiple vicinity industrial sites had contributed to area-wide groundwater contamination in the subject property vicinity. REPSG provided comprehensive due diligence reports, including regulatory compliance cost estimates. Decades of prior environmental investigations conducted under regulatory oversight was quickly digested by REPSG’s environmental professionals, and the conclusions of this analysis was presented to multiple stakeholders under significant time pressure due to impending closing. The clarity of this presentation, and of the associated cost estimating exercises, eliminated any need for additional site investigation and facilitated the successful completion of a multi-million dollar transaction without delay.
