Comprehensive Environmental Service during Acquisition and Renovation

REPSG provided comprehensive environmental consulting services as our client acquired and then renovated a multi-story senior citizen affordable housing apartment building located in a historic manufacturing city. REPSG’s comprehensive pre-acquisition due diligence services, which were required to facilitate the public and private funding of the project, included Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, asbestos and lead-based paint surveys, radon sampling, and lead in drinking water sampling. Following site acquisition, REPSG provided oversight of asbestos abatement, management of lead-based paint and water infiltration/mold during renovation, underground storage tank (UST) removal, and site remediation under New Jersey’s Site Remediation program. The REPSG Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) overseeing the project addressed multiple soil and groundwater impacts associated with historical site development and designed a remedial strategy that facilitated the continued use of the site as affordable housing.
